Claire Newman
Claire is a registered mental health nurse and independent prescriber with over 20 years of nursing experience.
She founded Soft Touches Aesthetics in 2014. In 2019 she left her full-time NHS post as a ward manager to run the clinic full time. As the sole practitioner, Claire sees every patient herself, from the first consultation through to aftercare.
Her background in psychology and mental health nursing shapes the way she works. Every patient has a thorough medical and psychological assessment, so treatment is always safe, suitable and right for you.

MSc in Nursing Practice
A master's degree in nursing practice, building on her years in clinical care.
BSc (Hons) Psychology
An honours degree in psychology from the University of East London (UEL).
Level 7 Aesthetic Medicine
Completed the Level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine in 2017. Claire is also a Level 7 Assessor with Derma Medical.

A postgraduate-level qualification in aesthetic medicine. Claire now also assesses this qualification for Derma Medical.
2019
Full time at the clinic
